The All Power America APGG600 generator will power up any home during a prolonged outage. This unit features 6,000 watts peak and 5,000 watts rated. It also runs at only 76dB making it one of the quieter generators on the market, especially for its size.  This unit also consists of 2 AC Duplex 120 V outlets, a wheel kit with pneumatic no-flat tires and handle, 291cc OHV air-cooled engine, and a recoil start. The warranty on this generator is one year parts and labor (Please see the owner’s manual for further details).

This generator will run for up to 8 hours at half load, has a 6.6 gallon fuel tank, 11 HP, fuel gauge, auto-voltage regulation, and low oil shutdown to prevent damage to the unit.  The unit is durable yet lightweight and will work well in the home, mobile home, tailgating, or camping.

Pros

The All Power America generator is EPA approved and requires only 6.6 gallons of gasoline in the easily accessible tank. This unit is fairly quiet for a generator at only 76dB; customers who have purchased this unit report it is quieter than a lawnmower. The wheel kit with no-flat tires makes this unit easy to transport to where it is needed most.

Cons

Some customers report difficulty in assembling the wheel kit. Be sure and read the instructions thoroughly. This unit does not have an electric start; it is a recoil (pull) start. However, customers report getting it started in one to two pulls.

As with any generator, it is imperative to use safety precaution. Never place a generator inside a home or in a closed garage. Do not overload the generator and never use extension cords that are only for indoor use.

If hooking the generator up to the home, a professionally installed transfer switch is required to meet electric codes. The commercial power to the home must be shut off at the transfer switch before hooking up the generator. It is recommended to consult with an electrician to make sure this is completed properly. It is also important to note the All Power American APGG6000 is portable and it is not necessary to hook this up to the home to run it. This unit will easily run essential appliances for 8 hours.
